The hunting season is now over. Hound exercise begins in Aug/Sept and is a great way to introduce a young horse to hounds and yourself to to 'bloodhounding.'
Meets are usually on a Sunday at 12.30pm. Some meets are OJD (optional jumping day). There are two field masters, one for the jumpers and another for non-jumpers. Most of the meets are in Nottinghamshire and usually quite a few ADRC members attend. If you would like to know when we are hunting contact Judith Fisher on 07745081747 or Dave Raspin on 07889886336 for more details.
ADRC has now become a ‘Partnered Riding Club’ with the Badsworth & Bramham Moor Hounds. The benefit for our club members is a reduced price visitor’s cap at £45 instead of the usual £70 during the 2012/13 season.
THE HUNTING SEASON IS NOW OVER. CHECK BACK IN AUGUST/SEPT 2013 FOR ANY CHANGES.
Autumn Hunting will be capped as normal @ £20 Adults £10 Children (Sept, Oct)
Riding Club Members can claim enhanced Cap /Tickets after contacting Jenny Tomlinson Walsh the B&BMH Secretary, on 07977 627128 or email@example.com with details of your in date Riding Club Membership Number and personal contact details. You should be regular, paid up members, with a history of being active, supportive members of the Riding Club. The main hunting season starts at the beginning of November and ends around the middle of March.
Riding Club Members’ Visitor’s Cap
1 pre-paid book of 3 Tickets for use on Saturday or mid-week = £135.00
1 pre-paid book of 5 Days Tickets for use mid-week only = £225.00
1 day Introductory Single Ticket for use on Saturday or mid-week = £45.00
Newcomers wanting a ‘see if I like it’ single ticket: on application you’ll be sent one introductory ticket and you should pay £45 and hand in the ticket at the Meet. If you wish to continue to ride out, then you should send a cheque for either 2 days (£90) or 4 days (£180) - the introductory ticket being deducted from the total.
On expiry of the Partnership tickets, if you wish to continue to hunt with the B&BMH you must revert to the existing system of 5 or 10 pre-paid day tickets (£310 / £600) as published on the Subscription Card; or continue the season by subscribing (perhaps using the ½ Subscription £340 available from Christmas onwards).
This combined system will give Partnered Riding Club Members excellent enhanced rates and offer a good introduction to Hunting.
If you are interested in hunting during the 2012/13 season the 1st thing you need to do is decide which ticket to buy. Then send a cheque in the post (£45 = 1 day /£135 = 3 days /£225 = 5 days) made out to B&BMH Ltd with instructions as to requirements, details of name, address, contact details and Riding Club Membership number to:
Jenny Tomlinson Walsh
3 Sunny Bank Parade,
Jenny will post the ticket book out to you by return. When you attend a meet simply hand in the ticket in lieu of Field Money. As a visitor you must always phone or email Jenny prior to attending any meet.
Important note: You will be charged full Visitors’ Cap if you don’t pre arrange and subsequently arrive at the Meet without a ticket; or if it’s a last minute decision to ride out, a telephone call to Jenny to discuss will usually remedy 07977 627128.
If you have any queries and wish to talk to someone within the club then contact Judith Fisher on 07745081747 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
