                                                                                          (BTRC), near Lancaster

There is a training day running in the NW, in conjunction with the British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre (BTRC), on Monday 25th March 2019 which promises to be a really insightful day. I thought this may be of interest to you and other local equestrians, this event is open to all and will count as CPD for BHS Coaches.

Below is a summary of the day with information and booking, I also attach a poster if you could promote the training locally I would be really grateful. You can also find this information on our Facebook event if you could share it that would also be really helpful.

The age old saying ‘Horses for courses’ still stands the tests of time, but how carefully do we assess the needs of our horses for the job we are asking them to do? BHS NW & The BTRC is bringing you a fascinating day of training covering:
·         Initial assessments
·         Diagnosis – identifying pain or behaviour
·         Suitable training for realistic goals
·         Sustainability – effective maintenance
Receive expert knowledge from Gordon Sidlow (BVMS MRCVS), FEI 5* Vet and Gillian Carlisle, BTRC CEO (BHSII, SM) along with experts in nutrition and farriery at the BTRC yard just north of Lancaster, Lancashire.

Registration 9:30am course runs 10am – 5pm
